you can check out the preview of the dvd on sting's site. It's seem to be only percussion, vocals, guitar, piano and backing vocals... no vinnie.

I have the CD its no ten summoners. Both vinnie and Manu are on it but the tracks are not listed with who's on which tune. Its also got programming on it too and track 11 the remix version of send your love is a throw up job. Apart from that, Stings song writing is strong and certainly better than the last effort imho.

The uk SACD version CD release has 2 extra tracks on it and the second track is one of the better tunes on the album. Like a fungi..its growing on me, But vinnie is not blasting all over it, more grooving.

Well, then again; Sting can't be havin' the ole Vinmaestro stealin' EVERY one a' his shows now, can he ["groovin' OR blastin'"]...
...Butt, on that note - [F sharp/passing tone] - & even tho Sting is a strong writer on the "pop" front [for lack of better] - I won't be buyin' it on that account... [where's the "sarcastic-grin" smiley graemlin?]

Its better than the last fuse.

Trouble is when you hear vinnies with sting you're[read I'm] expecting another 10 tales cd. The more you listen too it, it seems to get better.

What i can say is that the top of the pops and johnathon rosss live recording with vinnie was 10times better than the cd version, that vinnie lick was AWESOME but not on the album. [img]frown.gif[/img]
So, i'd make sure you can record the gig with vinnie THIS saturday on BBC2 radio at 9pm uk time. Its also available on their site for a week after, according to the BBC radio site. Incase anyone misses it.

the upcoming bbc radio 2 show is the show that i saw......all i can say is RECORD IT!!! vinnie was great....10 times better than on the jonathan ross show!

The album track of the single played is more electronic sounding than the live band sound/track they recorded for the beeb. As vinnie was vinnying it sounded MUCH better.
At least the BBC recording WILL be human sounding real drums.
